It should come as no surprise to anyone that I strongly support LeRoy Allison’s bid for re-election for Grant County Commissioner. I appreciated the opportunity to work with Commissioner Allison and found him to be a dedicated, extremely hard-working and knowledgeable commissioner. His years of experience will be even more important in these unsettling times we are facing.
Commissioner Allison has an opponent who has suggested that his nearly 16 years of experience are a liability — many of us consider that experience to be an asset!
His opponent, along with others from the Moses Lake area, signed on to Proposition 1, in hopes of eliminating the position of county commissioner and now she wants to be one? When some asked about that, she at first denied having signed it and then later stated she didn’t know what she was signing. Believe me, a county commissioner has to know what they are signing.
