Thank you to everyone who attended our monthly potluck this past Sunday. If you missed it, our next one will be on May 25. Everyone is invited! Just bring a food dish to share and stay after the meal to play dominoes, pinochle or bring your own favorite game.
Due to the rising cost of operations, cost for the Thursday night dinner has been raised to $8 per person. The new cost will start May 1. We will still offer discounts on childrenx92s meals. Donations are also very much appreciated due to rising costs.
Also on Thursday, May 1, in honor of x93Teachers Appreciation Week,x94 the Center will recognize and honor present and former teachers. Please join us for this celebration.
On Thursday, May 8, we will celebrate our mothers. We will be serving a very special dinner in their honor. All attending moms will receive a special Motherx92s Day gift. Please call 787-3231 to let us know if you will be joining us.
On Tuesday, May 13 the Center is hosting a Foot Clinic with nurses from Aging and Adult Care. Call Bonnie at 800-442-0779 to schedule an appointment if you donx92t already have one.
The Center has items like canes, walkers, bath chairs and potty chairs for loan. Call Pam at 787-3231.
Monday night bridge winners were Ed Casey, first, and Alverna Casey, second.
On Tuesday afternoons at 12:30 p.m., we play x93Mexican Trainx94 dominoes. Everyone is invited. Call the Center at 787-3231 for more information. Last weekx92s winner was Shirley Eggers.
Last weekx92s Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Aldene Duchscherer, first, and Lorain Greenwalt, second.
Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Al Kjeldson, first, and Doris Simmons, second.
Last Thursday night dominoes winner was Pam Barrows.
Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be baked ham, mashed potatoes, fried cabbage, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
