Everyone here at the Center would like to wish a speedy recovery to Phil Miller, who recently underwent knee replacement surgery. Get well soon!
Thank you to all the Quincy Senior Center members who volunteered their time at the blood drive last week.
The Center will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. Also due to Memorial Day observance, there will be no monthly potluck this Sunday.
Due to rising costs of operations, the Quincy Senior Center would greatly appreciate donations, be it monetary or garden vegetables, etc.
The Center would like to thank Dick and Rae Soelter for donating a generous part of their stimulus check to the Center. It is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much.
Monday night bridge winners were Susan Atkins, first, and Pete Whyte, second.
If you would like to join us in playing dominoes on Tuesday afternoons, call 787-3231 to let us know. We usually start at 12:30 p.m. Last Tuesdayx92s winner was Elaine Elshoff.
Last weekx92s Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Helen Colby, first, and Dorothy Hammack, second.
Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Berta Kjeldson and Irene Olson tied for first and Elsie Logan, second. Last Thursday night dominoes winner was Elaine Elshoff.
Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be grilled pork chops in cream of mushroon gravy, rice pilaf, green peas, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
