Report those abusing property
About two weeks ago, there were a group of men with trucks and a trailer picking up all the trash that had been dumped along the roadside on the hill north of Quincy. These men should be commended, and I would like to personally thank these men, whoever they are.
The road and property looked great until Tuesday, April 15 when a big pile of trash was dumped by a man driving a small size, light blue pickup with a lumber rack made of black pipe on top. (Editor's note x97 there is a picture of the trash above this letter.)

I am appalled at how many people disrespect our country's land in the above way. People continue to abuse the land north of town by using it as their own personal dump, shooting range or ATV park, despite the fact that it is private property. I live in this area and I am fed up with the ongoing abuse of this land and its county roads. I now carry a camera with me at all times and I will continue to take pictures of the trash and these offenders and their criminal activity will be reported to the police. This includes individuals who think they can use the county road as their own private shooting range, which is extremely dangerous to vehicles using the road.
I would like to encourage the community members to drive out and enjoy the wildflowers and all the beauty of this great land. Bring your camera and take some pictures of nature's beauty. And if you see any individuals destroying this beauty, take their picture, get their license plate number and then report them. Hopefully, as a community force, we can make a difference and stop this abuse.
