Carl Kaech
Carl Edward Kaech, 65, a longtime Quincy resident, passed away suddenly on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 at Ellensburg.
He was born on Feb. 18, 1945 to Joseph F. and Colleen (Roe) Kaech at Seattle.
Carl attended school in Auburn; he entered the U.S. Navy in 1962 on his 17th birthday.
He served in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged in 1967.
Carl married Brenda Schwint in 1974 at Ephrata. He farmed for 32 years in the Quincy area retiring, three years ago.
Carl in survived by his wife, Brenda Kaech of Quincy; children, Victor Kaech of Wenatchee, and Heath Kaech and Jacob Kaech, both of Quincy; sister, Marie Harwood of Quincy; brothers, Fred Kaech of Yakima and David Kaech of Wenatchee and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Quincy. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy. Concluding services and interment will be held in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel.
