Chamber's farmer breakfast Friday

The 30th annual Farmer’s Appreciation Breakfast, hosted by the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce, will be held tomorrow.

It will start at 7:30 a.m. at the Fire District Building, located at 1201 S. Central Ave. The breakfast is for farmers, orchardists and ranchers who live in the Quincy Valley.

“The breakfast is a tribute to our local area farmers, who are the backbone of commerce in Quincy,” said chamber director Karen Vizena. “We like to show them we appreciate them.”

There will be door prizes donated by local area businesses, and each farmer in attendance will receive a hat donated by a local business. Breakfast will be provided by L&R Cafe.

Those interested in attending the breakfast are asked to RSVP by this afternoon. For more information or to RSVP, call the chamber at 787-2140.
