Dave Matthews Band, Nickelback will return to Gorge
Live Nation has announced two more concerts coming to the Gorge Amphitheatre this summer: Nickelback and the Dave Matthews Band.
Nickelback is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. They will be joined by special guests Hinder, Papa Roach and Saving Able.
Nickelback’s summer tour is in support of their latest album, Dark Horse. Dark Horse single “Something In Your Mouth” is currently the top rock song in the country. The Dave Matthews Band will return to the Gorge Labor Day weekend, Friday, Sept. 4, Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. They will be joined by special guests G. Love & the Special Sauce and Yonder Mountain String Band.
The band is known for its mix of styles, from rock and folksy pop to bluegrass and smooth jazz. Dave Matthews Band is Carter Beauford on drums, Stefan Lessard on bass, Dave Matthews on vocals and guitar and Boyd Tinsley on violin. Joining them on tour will be Tim Reynolds on guitar, Rashawn Ross on trumpet and Jeff Coffin on saxophone, who are also featured on their new album.
