HTH - Owen Sanford
Owen Sanford is the math and health teacher at High Tech High. Sanford was born in Wenatchee, but raised in Toledo, where he attended high school. He attended Lower Columbia College and then Central Washington University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in health and fitness. He is acquiring a math endorsement. Sanford has been substitute teaching on and off for the past four years in Wenatchee, Eastmont, Cashmere, Lake Chelan, Ellensburg and Kittitas.
His goals for the school year are to improve focus and create a comfortable, structured atmosphere where all students will improve their skills in math and health.
“I look forward to developing professional relationships with staff and students and seeing improvement,” he said.
Sanford communtes from Ellensburg. He enjoys sports, playing music and being outdoors.
