Due to scheduling conflicts, the Quincy area Foot Clinic dates have been rescheduled toward the end of the month. This month’s clinic will be held on Tuesday, July 22. This clinic is by appointment only. Please call Bonnie at (800) 442-0779 to see if there are any available appointments. The next scheduled Foot Clinic will be on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

It’s still not too late to either join or renew your Quincy Senior Center Membership. Membership is only $10 per person. If you have not yet visited our Center, now is the time. Join us at our weekly Thursday night dinners at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited! Dinner is $8 per person (discounts for children). Milk, coffee and dessert are all included.

As a “PAID” member of the Quincy Senior Center, your name will be entered in our “Member of the Week” drawing held at the Thursday night dinner.

As the winner, you will receive a special gift; your picture will be taken and a poster will be created with your picture and displayed on our “Member of the Week” gallery. Your name and photo will also be printed in the Senior Column in the Quincy Post-Register and you will also receive a “FREE MEAL” certificate on your next Thursday night dinner visit. You must be present to win! Dinner starts promptly at 6 p.m. Please call the Center at 787-3231 to let us know if you will be joining us (but walk-ins are welcome). After dinner, join us in playing pinochle, dominoes, bridge or just sit and visit.

If you need the use of a cane, walker, bath chair, raise toilet seat, portable potty chair, etc., we have some for loan. We also have some Depends. Call Pam at the Center for more information.

Monday night bridge winners were Dorothy Hammack, first, and Barb Whyte, second.
