For Long
Confused about where the PUD commissioner candidates stand on the issues? It’s not surprising, since some candidates’ election rhetoric doesn’t always match their record. I know exactly where Don Long stands on the issues, though, and know that he is an honest, highly ethical man who will be an exceptional PUD commissioner.
Here is what Don Long will work for to represent all of us in Grant County as PUD commissioner:
Low electric rates for ALL customers
Buildout of fiber optics to the whole county
Policies that support residents, as well as agricultural, business and industrial customers
A utility that listens to its customers and works to meet their needs
Development of new low-cost power resources
Strong representation of PUD issues in Olympia and Washington D.C.
Strategic alliances with other regional utilities
Environmentally-responsible operations
Don Long has lived in Grant County for nearly 60 years, worked at Grant PUD for 30 years, and hopes to spend the next six years representing Grant PUD customers with integrity and reason.
