Luis Castellanos
Luis B. Castellanos, 67, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
He was born Aug. 29, 1942, to Lion Castellanos and Amalia Barajas Nunez in Tizapan, Jalisco, Mexico.
He attended school in Mexico; he later served in the Mexican military for three years, and then worked as a police officer in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico for a number of years.

He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1990, where he worked as a farm laborer until his illness forced his retirement.
He had made Quincy his home for a number of years.
Luis is survived by his wife, Maria Castellanos of Quincy; children Carmen Rios, Yolanda Castellanos, Jose Luis Castellanos, Gabriel Castellanos, Gilberto Castellanos, Jaime Castellanos and Ana I. Castellanos, all of Quincy, Osvaldo Castellanos of Wenatchee, Emma Castellanos of Pasco, and Israel Castellanos and Noemi Castellanos, both of Quincy; brothers, Ramiro Castellanos and Jose Castellanos, both of Tizapan, Jalisco, Mexico, and sister, Maria Castellanos of Guadalajara, Mexico.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at C.C. Fuente de Vida Neuva, 330 3rd Ave. NE, Quincy. Concluding services followed in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
