QHS announces several dates to remember

Quincy High School reminds students and their families of important dates before the start of school on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

The first day of football practice was Wednesday, Aug. 17. All other fall sports begin on Monday, Aug. 22.

Senior registration is Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Freshmen “Orientation” is Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon. Lunch is provided then “Registration” for freshmen is from noon to 2 p.m.

Junior registration is Thursday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. Sophomore registration follows on the same day from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The QHS Open House and Parent Information Night is Monday, Aug. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
