This year, between local, college, other miscellaneous scholarships, military and the Gear-Up program, Quincy High School graduates and alumni received about $610,000 in educational awards.

AWARDS
The Washington State Honors Award is awarded to the top 10 percent of Washington State High School seniors. Quincy recipients are: Eliseo Guerrero, Eric Martin, Gabino Guerrero, Katelyn Weber, Becky Hoyt, Timothy Weber, Michael Lemon.
Ernie Forge Foundation awards help carry out a community project or service. Recipients were Ross Massey for materials to teach a community welding class; Kaitlyn Nielson held a juvenile diabetes benefit dinner; and Gabriela Ribeiro repaired the Community Center Christmas display. A total of $1,572 was awarded.
