He attended Columbia Basin College, where he earned an associates degree in criminal justice, then went to Central Washington University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in sociology and law and justice. He then attended Heritage University, where he earned a master’s degree in school counseling. Trevino previously worked for the North Central Educational Service District as a Migrant Graduation Specialist.

His goals for the school year include helping students identify post-secondary options, discuss their goals and helping them achieve those goals. He is most looking forward to working individually with students to help them plan their futures.

“The first week was a little crazy, but things are going really well,” said Trevino.

The counselor lives in Quincy with his wife, Jessica, and their children, Trajan, 8, Julisa, 4, and Dominic, 2. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, baseball, soccer and spending time with his family.
