QHS - Nikole Guthas
Nikole Guthas
Nikole Guthas is a new health and math teacher at Quincy High School. She is also an assistant coach for eighth-grade volleyball.
Guthas attended high school in Davenport. She attended Eastern Washington University, where she received a degree in health and fitness. She has teaching endorsements in health and fitness and math. Guthas previously taught PE and health for three years in St. Maries, Idaho.
“The first week went real well. The students have been very good and the staff has been so helpful,” she said.
Her goals for the school year are to become involved in the community through school events. Guthas looks forward to getting to know the students and faculty. She is currently living in Quincy. Her son, Jeremy, is in the eighth grade and her fiance is Jason Noble. Her hobbies include quilting, reading, sports and scrapbooking.
