QHS – Scott Alexander
ott Alexander is a new Spanish teacher at the high school. He is also helping coach football and is looking forward to helping coach track in the spring.
“I’ve been a traveler and I finally came back home,” said Alexander.
Originally from Quincy, he graduated from Quincy High School in 1999. He attended Central Washington University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Spanish education and a minor in ESL / bilingual education. Alexander has previously taught at Ephrata High School and taught for a year at an international school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

His goals for the school year are to have fun and teach his students the importance of learning Spanish, as well as the language itself. He is most looking forward to getting to know the kids.
He is currently living in Quincy, as do his dad, Alex, mom, Jan, and brother, Michael. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with family and friends.
