Rebecca Meeker
Rebecca Meeker is a new eighth-grade math teacher at Quincy Junior High School.
She is originally from Dillon, Mont., where she attended Beaverhead County High School.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a secondary level teaching certificate, 6-12, in math from Gonzaga University in Spokane. This is Meeker’s first teaching job.
“It has been going really well,” she said.
Her goals for the school year are to help her students become better problem solvers and help them learn to work better in groups.
She is most looking forward building relationships with her colleagues, students and their families.
Meeker lives in the Quincy Valley. In her free time, she enjoys painting, watching old black and white movies, sudoku, cooking and baking.
