QJHS - Warren Toney
Warren Toney
Warren Toney is the new Dean of Students at Quincy Junior High. He is originally from Spokane, where he attended Gonzaga Prep School. He went on to Gonzaga University, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in math and physics and another in engineering. He has teaching certificates for both elementary and secondary education.
Toney was previously a math teacher, most recently at Selah Junior High School and Hazen High School in Renton.

His goals for the school year are to see very few students with attendance and discipline problems and to help those who insist on visiting with him to see the error of their ways and, in turn, strive to be successful. He is looking forward to a smooth, uneventful and successful school year.
“It’s a good school with good students and a nice community,” said Toney.
He is currently living in the Quincy area. He is married to Effie and they have two children, Amy, 28, and Joseph, 25. In his spare time, he enjoys genealogy.
