Hurry!!!! You have less than a week left to purchase your raffle tickets for our “Senior Super Duper Raffle.” For those of you who are helping us sell our raffle tickets, please have all tickets and money turned in by noon on Monday, Oct. 6.
You can still purchase tickets at the Quincy Senior Center. Grand prize: Honda All-Terrain Vehicle, donated by Chet’s Honda. Stop by the Quincy Senior Center to preview the list of other prizes. All proceeds go towards our “Keep the Quincy Senior Center” operating fund. Drawing will be held on Oct. 11, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Reiman-Simmons Harvest Festival.
Thank you to all who attended our monthly potluck this past Sunday. If you missed it and would like to join us for our next potluck, it will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. It will be our annual Halloween potluck and costume contest! Plan to attend this event and come dressed in a costume or we will dress you! Come share in the food, fun and fellowship!
Monday night bridge winners were Dick Bennett, first, and Susan Atkins, second.
On Tuesday afternoons at 12:30 p.m., we play “Mexican Train” dominoes. Everyone is invited! Call 787-3231 for more information.
Last Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Mary Tobin, first, and Aldene Duchscherer, second.
Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Glenn Schempp, first, and Betty Boorman, second.
There was no Thursday night dominoes played last week.
Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be barbecue chicken, au gratin potatoes, buttered peas, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
