There was no “Member of the Week” drawing last week.

Just a reminder, the Swing for Seniors golf tournament is Sunday, Oct. 5, starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Crescent Bar golf course. All proceeds benefit the Quincy Senior Center.

For those who missed last Tuesday’s Foot Clinic, the next one will be Tuesday, Nov. 25. This clinic is by appointment only. Call Bonnie at (800) 442-0779 to find out appointment times still available.

Applications are being taken for the position of director of the Quincy Senior Center. If you are interested in the position, call Joan Reynolds at the center at 787-3231 or stop by the center at 522 F St. SE to pick up an application or drop off a resume.

Raffle tickets are still available for our “Senior Super Duper Raffle.” Purchase tickets at the Quincy Senior Center or from QSC members. Grand prize: Honda all-terrain vehicle, donated by Chet’s Honda. Stop by the center to preview the list of other prizes. All proceeds go toward our “Keep the Quincy Senior Center” operating fund. Drawing will be held Oct. 11, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Reiman-Simmons Harvest Festival.

Monday night bridge winners were Dick Bennett, first, and Sue Atkins, second.

On Tuesday afternoons at 12:30 p.m., we play “Mexican Train” dominoes. Everyone is invited! Call the center for more information.

Last week Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Isabel Farmer, first, and Ida Erickson, second.

Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Bill DeLeeuw, first, and Al Kjeldson, second.

Last Thursday night dominoes winner was Elaine Elshoff.

Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be beef, tomato and macaroni casserole, bacon-seasoned green beans, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
