Congratulations to Pete Whyte, winner of last week’s Member of the Week drawing.
Everyone here at the Quincy Senior Center would like to thank the following people for their generous monetary donations to the Center in the past week: John Zafiropoulos, A. Thank you to everyone who attended our Father’s Day celebration last Thursday. All attending fathers received a goodie bag of treats and a wonderful roast beef dinner.
There will be no Quincy Senior Center monthly potluck this Sunday due to the memorial services for Doc Bentley to be held at the Moses Lake Senior Living on Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m.
Representatives from Aging and Adult Care will be here next Thursday at 4:30 p.m. to issue Farmer’s Market vouchers to qualifing seniors 60 years or older. For more information on this program, call Kathy at 800-572-4459.
Monday night bridge winners were Alverna Casey, first, and Dick Bennett, second.
If you would like to join us in playing dominoes at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons, call 787-3231 to let us know. Last week’s winner was Betty Durant.
Last week’s Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Billie Schempp, first and Dorothy Hammack, second.
Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Chris Gehring, first and Ruth Atwood, second.
Last Thursday night dominoes winner was Ila Halterman.
Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be grilled hamburger steak with grilled onions and mashed red potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
