Congratulations to Billie Schempp, winner of last week’s Member of the Week drawing.
The Quincy Senior Center would like to send our condolences to the family of our dearly departed friend, Doc Bentley, who passed away last week. For years he had been a faithful member of the Quincy Senior Center and served on our Board of Directors for many years. He will be greatly missed.
Due to the rising costs of operations, the Quincy Senior Center would greatly appreciate donations, be it monetary, garden vegetables, etc.
Come join us this Thursday, June 12 to celebrate fathers. Everyone is invited. Dinner is $8 per person. All attending fathers will receive a special gift. Call 787-3231 to RSVP. We would also like to wish all dads a Happy Father’s Day!
Representatives from Aging and Adult Care will be here on next Thursday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. to issue Farmer’s Market vouchers to qualifing seniors 60 years or older. For more information on this program, call Kathy at 800-572-4459.
Monday night bridge winners were Marvin Mort, first, and Lucy Jacques, second.

Last week’s Wednesday afternoon bridge winners were Billie Schempp, first and Dorothy Hammack, second.
Last Thursday night pinochle winners were Ruth Atwood, first and Irene Olson, second. Last Thursday night dominoes winner was Pam Barrows.
Rotary lunch and Thursday night dinner will be tender roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, tossed green salad, dinner roll and dessert.
