Spaghetti feed Friday

The annual Fourth-Grade Spaghetti Feed is Friday, March 6 at Quincy High School from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children younger than fourth-grade and are available from fourth-graders or at the door. Take out is available.

Students go to regional bee

Quincy Junior High students earned top spots at the Grant County Spelling Bee, held in Soap Lake Feb. 18. Seventh-grader Maribel Bustos took first place, while classmate Ashley Breeden took second. Eighth-grader Caitlin Silk also took first. All three students will advance to the North Central Washington Regional Bee at Eastmont Junior High on March 19.

New Life names winners

New Life Christian School's February Character Cup winners were Luke Jones, Kelly Everett, Brynn Nieuwenhuis, Hannah Winkler, Gabriel Elmore, Johnathan Abens, Melody Harris, Rebecca Calloway, Cydney Schaapman, Jessica Faw, Jayden Elmore and Helen Boorman.
