QHS class of 1999 seeks members

Graduation services

Quincy High School has announced that Baccalaureate services will be Wednesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. in the QHS Performing Arts Center. Graduation will be Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Quincy Jaycee's Stadium.

Students inducted

Case Samuel Hinkins and Sara Lynn Pritchett were recently inducted into the Rho Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. Phi Theta Kappa is the national honor society for two-year colleges and Rho Zeta is the Big Bend Community College chapter. To be invited to join, students must have earned a minimum of 12 credits with at least a 3.40 GPA.

Monument names Students of the Month

Monument Elementary’s Students of the Month for May were chosen for trust or academics. Fourth-grade winners were Andrew Arizmendi, Austin Durfee, Gerardo Ramirez, Leonella Pineda, Sebastian Gomez, Braulia Nieves, Joanna Medina, Laura Valenzuela, Marcus Lopez, Alexandra Amaya, Francisco Vasquez, Jessinia Oropeza, Gage Stephens, Kevin Rios, Oliver Mendez and Rebecca Carlson.
