Homer receives EWU scholarship
CHENEY, Wash.— Katline Homer of Quincy, Washington has been awarded $3,000 through the Trustees fund for the 2010-11 academic year at Eastern Washington University. The award is given to a student who maintains a 3.8+ GPA and is a continuing EWU student.
Homer graduated from Quincy High School in 2009, where she participated in ASB, tennis and volleyball. She currently attends EWU, where she is studying finance. She is a member of the Phi Sigma Honor Society at EWU. She is the daughter of Christy and Doug Homer of Quincy.

Monument Elementary School released the Students of the Month for November. The topic for November was respect or academics.
