A Student Showcase of Talent will be held Saturday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at The Grainery. This is a new event for students in all grades to share their talents, including vocal and instrumental performance, photography, comedy, recitation, dramatic interpretation, visual art and textiles. Applications are due by March 24 and can be picked up at The Grainery or through teachers at any school in the Quincy Valley. All participants are entered into a drawing to win one of two $50 cash prizes.
The White Trail Riders 4-H horse club will host their annual Tack Swap this Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ag Building at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake. Consignments will be taken by appointment on Friday, March 18, and on Saturday from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Consignment fee is a $2 registration plus 15 percent of sales.
