Senior News: Aug. 5
The new carpet is set for installation Aug. 16-18. We could use some volunteers to help move the tables and chairs out of the room, and then move them back in the room after installation. If you have some free time, give us a call at 787-3231.
Coming events: Dr Shelly will be at the Senior Center on Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. to discuss arthritis and how it affects us. Protecting Seniors (A Community Comes Together) will be held Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wenatchee Convention Center.
Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. there is a board meeting and anyone is invited to attend.
Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. is a “5 Wishes” seminar which helps a person decide how they want their last wishes honored.
The Pasco Senior Center is hosting an All Senior Picnic on Sept. 23 at TRAC in Pasco, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $5 per person. If you would like further information about any of these upcoming events, please feel free to call us at the Center at 787-3231.
Friends and family of senior citizens be on the alert; look out for your elder loved ones. Hot weather brings its own risks, including heat stroke.

Lunch for Rotary at noon and seniors and community at 6 p.m.: Italian spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, whole kernel corn, fruit of the day and zucchini bars for dessert at the QUINCY SENIOR CENTER
