Sligar guides Rams to WFL finals
WV Rams host Spokane Wolfpack Saturday night at Eastmont High School
Matt Sligar, a 1995 QHS graduate, and the Wenatchee Valley Rams (8-3) semi-pro football team is hosting the Spokane Wolfpack (5-3) this Saturday in the semifinals of the Washington Football League.
The game is at 6 p.m. at Eastmont High School.
The two met April 14 and Spokane won 13-10 in a defensive dominated game. All three touchdowns were scored by the defenses.

Sligar led the Jackrabbits to a state quarterfinal appearance his senior season. But the win over the South Sound Shockers last weekend was the first playoff win in the team’s existence. Sligar threw for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns and ran for 53 yards. Through the first half of the season, he built up a 129.8 quarterback rating and had a 44.6 completion percentage.
The gates open at 5 p.m. There will be a barbeque for $5.
