Thanks, Women of the Moose

For 30 years, the Easter Bunny has always made a stop in Quincy thanks to the Women of the Moose.

The group has put on the annual Easter egg hunt in the park for three decades of children in Quincy.

They donate the eggs, the candy, the prizes and their labor to put it on.

Their only reward is seeing the children with their happy faces scrambling to find eggs.

And while that is a mighty fine reward, it’s important that the egg hunt organizers know how much our community appreciates their efforts.

The Post-Register wishes to thank these women and the men who help them for continuing this fine Quincy tradition.

Let’s hope the event will continue for another 30 years.
