Wallace Bushman

Wallace Ray Bushman, 60, of Quincy-George, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010.

He was born March 11, 1950 to Martin D. and Lucile (Ray) Bushman at Snowflake, Ariz.

The family moved to the Quincy area in 1952. Wallace attended school, graduating from Quincy High School in 1968; he attended Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah.

Wallace married Jean Cooke on May 18, 1976 at Cardston Temple, Alberta, Canada. He farmed in the Quincy-George area for 30 years before working for Ford New Holland as a mechanic. For the past six years he had been employed by the City of George.

Wallace is survived by his wife, Jean Bushman of George; mother, Lucile Bushman of Quincy; children, Heather Schaefer of Spokane, Kyle Bushman of George, Anna Pruett of Boise, Idaho, Ester Bushman of Rexburg, Idaho, and Maria Bushman, Karl Bushman, Carter Bushman, Spencer Bushman, Trevor Bushman and Tanner Bushman, all of George; four grandchildren; sister, Marlue Perkins of Centerville, Utah; brothers, Marion Bushman of Salt Lake City, Earl Bushman of Everett, Max Bushman of Morgan Hill, Calif. and Ronald Bushman of North Logan, Utah.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quincy. Concluding services and Dedication of Grave followed at the Quincy Valley Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made to Friends of Scouting.
