Nov. 6: Quincy 20, Ephrata 7

The Quincy High School football team ended its season in fine fashion Friday, claiming the Battle of the Basin trophy with a 20-7 win over rival Ephrata.
The Jackrabbits end their season at 3-7, while the Tigers finish 0-10.
The three wins represent a step forward for Quincy, which won two games combined in the previous two seasons.
Manny Ybarra had 161 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 51 and 43 yards in the first quarter.
By halftime, the Jacks had racked up 312 yards, limited the Tigers to just 22 yards, and possessed a 20-0 lead.
“Manny breaking off those big runs helped cool everyone's nerves down, and the defense played great in the second half,” Quincy coach Stephen Wallace told the Wenatchee World.
Jacks quarterback Jackson Hodges scored on an eight-yard run in the second quarter, and Ephrata’s Travis Flint rushed for a 10-yard touchdown for the Tigers’ lone score in the third quarter.
