‘Legacy of Hope’ comes to Quincy
Oct. 02, 2008 - Speaker and author Susie Vanderlip is bringing her one-woman theatrical show, Legacy of Hope to Quincy on Oct. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Quincy High School’s Performing Arts Center.

Sept. 25, 2008 - lizabeth Kondo is a new sixth-grade science and social studies teacher at Monument Elementary. Kondo was born in Quincy and is a Quincy High School grad. She earned an associate’s degree from Wenatchee Valley College, then went on to Central Washington University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree, majoring in elementary education and minoring in Spanish. She has a master’s degree from Walden University in integrating literacy. Kondo also has an ESL endorsement.
Pioneer - Maria Garcia
Sept. 25, 2008 - a Garcia is a new transitional bilingual instructor at Pioneer Elementary. She is originally from Moses Lake, where she attended high school. She worked in Quincy for a year and a half and in Moses Lake for seven years as a teacher’s aide.
