Sept. 02, 2010 - NEWS FLASH! Those members who have been waiting for Clyde to return will be happy to know that his first day back with us will be Sept. 16.

Aug. 26, 2010 - This is the last call to anyone interested in attending the 5 Wishes seminar held at the Senior Center today at 4 p.m.

Aug. 20, 2010 - The new carpet has been installed from Grant’s Carpet in Ephrata. A big thank you goes to the senior community for stopping by and helping to move and rearrange the furniture. A huge thank you also goes to the City of Quincy, Tony and his crew, for moving the heavy items. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to take a look.

Aug. 12, 2010 - The new carpet is set for installation Aug. 16, 17 and 18. Friday Aug. 13 at 3 p.m., volunteers are needed to help move the furniture. Please come and help!

Aug. 05, 2010 - The new carpet is set for installation Aug. 16-18. We could use some volunteers to help move the tables and chairs out of the room, and then move them back in the room after installation. If you have some free time, give us a call at 787-3231.

July 29, 2010 - We have ordered new carpet for the Senior Center, thanks to a grant from the Paul Lauzier Foundation. We are grateful that they worked with us to make this great change in the dining room.

Senior News: July 15
July 15, 2010 - Thanks to everyone who helped at the Red Cross blood drive on Monday. Estimates on participation were 70 donors and 11 Senior Center volunteers. Next year we will work harder on scheduling our volunteers.

July 01, 2010 - July is here…fireworks, hot summer nights, lots of outdoor opportunities. Hopefully you are taking advantage of the good weather. Remember that the cold, moist washcloth does wonders as it gets hotter.
