Senior News 12/11

Dec. 12, 2008 - The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) representative paid us a visit in November, and the Quincy Senior Center is happy to announce that we will participate in the program. Volunteers provide the very backbone of any not-for-profit organization. RSVP participation will provide volunteers with backup insurance during the hours that they volunteer. The program also allows us to track and report to the state legislature that we are drawing time and talents from the seniors in our community. I encourage you to help us build the framework necessary for a lively and useful Senior Center. Pick up an RSVP application today.

Pete and Barb Whyte came in "Pirates of the Caribbean" garb and Barb took second place. Laura Christian made a gorgeous witch, so good that she got third place. The competition was fierce!
