Love Hurts tennis tourney
Sept. 18, 2008 - There were 22 players for the Love Hurts Tennis Tournament on Saturday. The Champion of the men's singles was Cameron Rasmussen, while the girl's victor was Ciara Rasmussen. In the men’s doubles, Alan and Chris Rasmussen won the title. The event, coordinated by Katie Homer, raised $378 for the Quincy High School tennis team.

Reyes places in top-third
Sept. 11, 2008 - Jared Reyes (QHS ‘07) competed at the Whitman Invitational cross-country meet over the weekend. The University of Great Falls freshman placed 27th out of 79 runners. He ran the 6000 meter (3.73 miles) course in 20 minutes, 57.43 seconds. The Argos placed fifth out of eight teams, scoring 124 points. Whitworth was first (31) and Lewis and Clark (33) was second.
Knutson sits at second
Sept. 11, 2008 - Michael Knutson (QHS ‘06) is sitting in second place in the Northwest Outlaw Street Stock series after 10 races. The second year NWOSS driver has 707 points and is seated just behind leader Gary Homad (714) and in front of Bryon Goetz (680), Josh Wilson (584) and Mitch Kleyn (QHS ‘86) with 535 points.
