Two Grant County PUD workers’ COVID-19 tests came back negative Friday afternoon, according to a press release.

One worker is a regular employee and the other is a contract worker. Both workers exhibited flu-like symptoms, according to a press release.

In response to the results, Grant PUD is consulting with Grant County Health District to form a plan for workers to report to their normal work locations on Tuesday, March 17. Those workers include those who are not a high risk of serious complications from the virus, according to a press release.

PUD facilities will remain closed to the public until further notice. However, crews and support staff will remain on duty to ensure mission critical systems are functioning, according to a press release.
