Jacks cross country had a successful last race of the season with three personal records achieved. The Jacks raced at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee for the second week in a row on April 1.

All the girls had their fastest 5k race of the season the week previous at Wenatchee. Here’s how they finished:

  • Jane Kennedy, senior, 14th; 21:41.0
  • Marisol Uribe, sophomore, 71st; 27:55.5
  • Bridget Jones, freshman, 73rd; 28:10.1
  • Ruth Flores, sophomore, 89th; 36:56.2

Here’s how the boys finished:

  • Levi Kukes, freshman, 76th; 20:14.4
  • Ecduy Gordillo, junior, 84th; 20:26.4
  • Israel Perez, junior, 120th; 21:39.5
  • Kevin Calixto, senior, 130th; 21:57.8
  • Alexis Birrueta, freshman, 152nd; 23:45.2
  • Adiel Sandoval, sophomore, 162nd; 24:44.3
  • Alan Rivera, freshman, 182nd; 27:56.4

Gordillo, Birrueta and Sandoval had their fastest times of the season on April 1. Three of the four other teammates had their best times of the season the week previous at Wenatchee.
