On July 23, Grant County Sheriffs and Quincy Police responded to multiple 911 calls of shots fired at Crescent Bar. Within an hour, a suspect was taken into custody.

31-year-old Jordan Kintner was arrested without incident at the Crescent Bar golf course and is facing charges of aiming and discharging a weapon, according to the report issued by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

As many as 10 shots were fired from a semiautomatic pistol at around 10:45 a.m. according to the report which prompted a shelter in place advisory for the Crescent Bar area.

Eight Grant County Sheriff’s officers responded to the calls and three Quincy Police officers assisted.

Kintner is a registered resident of Kennewick but is believed to have been staying at Crescent Bar while working in Quincy.

According to the report, Kintner told deputies he was upset because he had lost his job at a Quincy business.

Witness reports do not indicate that he aimed the weapon at any person or building and no one was injured, said Kyle Foreman, Grant County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer.
