Dear Quincy community,

My time as the editor of the Post-Register is coming to an end, and as I reflect on my time here, I am very grateful for the experience.

Since my arrival as the sports reporter in the summer of 2019, the community has been supportive and gracious, and I want to thank you all for the warm welcome. Connecting and getting to know many of you through interviews for stories or just friendly banter is just one of many things I will miss about this role.

I want to thank the team at the Post-Register and the Wenatchee World as they have been so great to work with day in and day out. I am confident the team in Quincy will continue to bring you the type of quality news you expect going forward. I also want to thank Sean Flaherty from the Wenatchee World for giving me the opportunity to take on this role, and allowing me to grow and expand my skill set in my career while becoming a better leader along the way.

Although I will no longer be at the Post-Register, I plan to remain in the area, watching and cheering for the Quincy Jacks from a distance. I sure hope to see you around the valley!

Miles King
