R&R Espresso held a grand opening for its second location in Quincy on Feb. 10.

As part of their grand opening, Pita pit paid for the first 50 coffees and every tenth customer got a $10 gift card.

Owner Nohemi Richardson also owns the R&R Espresso stand in George.

This is Richardson’s hometown and she always wanted to open up a business here. Things ended up working out with her starting her coffee business in George first but more recently had the opportunity to expand to Quincy and took it. This June will be the five-year anniversary of the George R&R Espresso.

The staff will rotate between the Quincy and George locations, said Richardson

They serve dark roast coffee and have snacks such as muffins, cookies, breakfast burritos, stuffed and regular bagels and even fresh made crepes.

“I’m definitely excited to be here, to serve the people I grew up with,” Richardson said.

Richardson also hopes to set up a scholarship for high school seniors by 2022 in order to give back to the community.

Specials are posted daily on their Facebook page: R&R Espresso Quincy.
