The Quincy Jacks football team’s last few games of the season, including a varsity match up against rival Ephrata, has been cancelled due to a positive COVID-19 test from a Quincy player.

The announcement was made in a press release from Quincy High School.

“Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health and safety of our students, staff, and athletics community and in keeping with Quincy School District and League COVID protocols, we are canceling all football scheduled for this week,” the release on March 29 said.

The cancelled football games include:

March 29, junior varsity football: Chelan at Quincy

April 1, junior varsity football: Quincy at Ephrata

April 2, varsity football: Ephrata at Quincy
