Baseball wins conference match against Omak

The first week of competitions for Jacks baseball started on April 13 with a game against Omak High School. The Jacks took the win 16-3.

April 16 was a double header against Ephrata. The jacks took a tough loss, not being able to get a single run in either game. The scores for the doubleheader were 0-22 and 0-16.

Their current standings are 1-0 in the conference and 1-2 overall.

Tennis teams battle but lose to Eastmont and Cashmere

On April 14 the Jacks battled Eastmont at home with three singles and two doubles matches for each girls and boys.Over the five matches, the boys came out 0-5 and the girls finished 1-4.

Junior Stephanie Aguirre won her match after a tiebreak. The match scores were 4-6, 6-4 and the final 10-6.

The Jacks traveled to Cashmere on April 17. Over the five matches, the boys were 1-4 and the girls were 0-5.

Boys doubles Wyatt Vandermerwe and Tim Bensch, both juniors, won their match 6-3 and 6-2.

Golf travels to second match

The boys and girls golf teams traveled to Brewster on April 14 for the Gamble Sands Invite. There they went up against league and non-league opponents such as Royal, Ephrata, Wenatchee, Cascade, Chelan, Omak, Eastmont and Moses Lake.
