The Salad Bar finally opened to the public on Thursday, March 25.

The Salad Bar is located in the Swim and Gym building, where the Brick Deli used to be before it closed at the beginning of the pandemic.

There are too many salad toppings to name but there are at least four types of dressings, five types of meat and over a dozen different types of vegetables to choose from.

“We are so excited to finally be open and provide a healthy option for our community,” owner Micaiah McCreary said. “We wanted to carry on what the Brick Deli had started, so we didn’t stray too far from what options they had, but we did add in a few of our own personal touches and upgraded a few products.”

Salads are sold by weight at $8.99 a pound. They also offer sandwiches, paninis and flatbreads.

The current hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

McCreary said they are looking to hire help and as soon as the employees are hired and trained, they will be looking to extend their hours.
